Peach Ice Cream

Rachel, my Matron of Honor, got Rich and I an ice cream maker.

We are planning on naming our first born after her. 

If you are opposed to someone opening gifts before they are actually married you should prolly stop reading. I personally like to think that it was more of a late birthday present then a bridal shower gift so it is ok to use it now.

If you have an ice cream maker make this ice cream now.

Please ignore this blender. I am pretty sure it is older then my mom. 

If you do not I suggest you go invest in one now, and THEN make this ice cream!

The ice cream mixing. 

Peach Ice Cream

1 1/4 lbs fresh peaches- peeled, pitted and chopped

1/4 cup white sugar

1 cup half and half

14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk

12 ounce can of evaporated milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup whole milk

1. Puree peaches with sugar, and half and half in a blender or food processor.

2. In a 2 quart cream freezer container, mix together the peach mixture, sweetened and condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla. Pour in enough whole milk to fill the container to the fill line.

3. Our ice cream maker has us mix for 25 minutes. Follow your ice cream maker’s instructions.

  1. Nom nom nom… can you make ice cream with almond milk or soy milk? Terri can no dairy 😦

  2. I have seen recipes with almond milk…rich put his foot down and made me use REAL milk…full fat too lol
