Beautiful Wednesday

We made it back to Long Island via a short stop in Jersey. We stopped to see Rich’s friend Kevin. We had some delish burgers and got to catch up on bachelor party plans.

We also have been hitting our half marathon training pretty hard.

We are about 19 miles in. Wooo hooo!

I also had another wonderful shower thrown by Rich’s step mother Valerie. I got to meet her friends and got a really sweet hat.

I have never seen the tradition of making the bows into a hat. I usually have seen it made into a bouquet but I think I may like the hat more.

Today was an extra beautiful day because the make-up/hair lady, Elena, for my wedding came to give me a dry run.

This is my Hope Solo smolder.

But I could not keep a straight face when Rich kept telling me to sssssmolder.

I usually do not wear any make up so I was worried I would be too made up but I loved the overall look.

We are basically all done with the major wedding plans and are looking forward to getting back to FL to get ready for the new school year.

xoxo,

Emily
