Baby it’s cold outside

Not really but that is truly the only Christmas song I can stand.

We got a big ole Christmas tree.

But to be specific it is an efffin’ HUGE tree.

It is pretty big.

We spent the whole day decorating.

Well I spent the whole day watching Rich decorate.

And crock potting a spaghetti squash to replace all the carbs in my life.

Crock pot Spaghetti Squash

1 medium squash- depending on the size of your crock pot, you do not want the sides of the squash to touch the crock pot, so get the best size for you.

1/2 cup water

1. Clean squash, and place in crock pot with 1/2 cup water. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until a fork pierces the skin.

2. Remove from crock pot and let sit until cool, about an hour. Cut in half, I think I cut mine the wrong way, scoop out the seeds and then use a fork the scrape the flesh, also known as yummy goodness, out.

We topped it with some sauce and some cheese.

Now I am ready for Once Upon A Time and Next Iron Chef.
